Setting up your signature:

First of all, be sure to review the rules about signatures and avatars, here (http://www.shahrukhkhan.org/forcon/showthread.php?t=19473).

Then:

1. At top of any Forum page, click on "User CP"

2. In left-hand column, click on "Edit Signature"

3. in the Edit Signature box, enter any signature text you might want, using the toolbars to format the text.

4. If you want to include an image, you need to have your image on a web server. If you don't have your own website, use a free host like www.photobucket.com, www.imageshack.us/, etc. Follow the instructions there to upload your image to the host, then they will give you the internet path to your image, also called the "URL". Copy this URL.

5. Enter the image into your signature by clicking on the "Insert Image" Toolbar button (2nd row, 5th from the right side). Paste the URL to your image in the box that pops up. Here's an example of how your URL should look: (Example only, yours will be different, but should have a similar pattern, starting with http:// and ending with the name of your file.)

http://www.myserver.com/myimage.jpg

IMG tags will be added before and after the URL for you. Don't try to add them manually unless you have web programming experience.

6. Click on "Save Signature" below the edit box, and you should see your new sig in the "Preview" box above the Edit Signature box. Make any adjustments or corrections and save again if necessary.

That's it, you're all done! Enjoy your new signature!
