I was trying to download the making of WTPT.

Reema, that error happend with me too before. But it was because I removed the files before they were downloaded. Did you do that too? The files are removed automatically after the download is complete.

When you add the items to cart, there's an option to remove them right? From the drop down menu on the top-left. Says 'Empty Cart'.

Do you get the error when you click 'Download in Zip'?

I hade two things
1- the zip file just doesn't download
2- when trying again, the same message error that reema mentioned appears

hey.. i think im going thru the same problem. everytime i click the 'download in zip' option this message comes up saying there is a platform error :S.. and i checked the 'remove' column in the cart, none of the boxes are ticked :(

You have to log in from the front page www.shahrukhkhan.org and once you log in on the front page, you will see SRK Forums, Live Chat,New Gallery Microsites. Click on New gallery.

I had the same prob too, but IE didn´t work out either nor any other browser I used.
But 2 days ago a download worked, no idea why. I try to download the Kank making ofs, I´ll post again if it doesn´t work.

Annous, my sister is also using Mozilla, so I tried to download the files from the main page with that browser and I got the same message just as you.

Try the following:
Search your pc for files called "compreg.dat" and rename those. I renamed them to compreg1.dat. Now it's working.

That's an odd thing. Actually it must be somewhere in the Mozilla folders. I guess there's not much to do if you couldn't find it.

The security message appears annous if you have spent more than 45 mts on the site without using it.You are getting timed out. Try downloading 1 file at a time when you are using IE.

although I changed the mozilla files mentioned ... yesterday this worked and I did download the IBN-CNN interview, but today I cannot download the KANK MTV special and the Cinemascope thingy.

Mary was so kind as to help me with a few files, but the mtv special is still my problem ... I really give up, I never had download probs before, this is a total mystery to me. But thanks a lot for trying to help, abaya ;)

EDIT: Mary suggested to use firefox, I will try this browser tomorrow, wish me luck, maybe it´ll work for me. I will update my post or make a new one, if it works for me, it maybe works for other users with probs :)

No, they won't stay there for more than your current session! I recommend you just add 2 or 3, then download them in a zip file. Much safer that way.

I'm sorry that your connection makes it so difficult for you. I hope you understand that this kind of setup was necessary to hide the actual links and locations of the files to prevent hotlinking, and keep hackers from messing things up. A direct link is very dangerous to website security.

It's unfortunate that troublemakers have made these steps necessary.

We try to keep things of one subject together, so please use the thread that already is there for that purpose. Sometimes you have to do a quick search in the forum section if it's slipped below the first page. It's here:

hi, i’m trying to download ‘India Questions - NDTV – English’ and it gives me this message,

EDIT: i don’t know if this helps but in the ‘Items Currently in Your Cart’ window, under the ‘type’ it says ‘link’. on this particular file but on the other files it says ‘movie’.

When I go back to the previous page I get this message "Your cart is empty".

I have problems downlaoding from the gallery for about a week now, with the same symptoms as described above (security message, when going back the cart is empty). I have been trying to download an interview or two, and just a few minutes ago I couldn't download the videos to the K3G songs (I wanted to download all four of them in one zip, I'll try to download them separately now).

You shouldn't have any problems because your name is showing up in the Gallery.

Try logging in from the front page www.shahrukhkhan.org, and ask it remember you and then try. If that doesn't work try deleting all your cookies and temporary internet files and trhen reenable them and log in from the
front page again.
Your name shows up in the gallery area as well as for the main frontarea so you shpuldn't have any problems.

There is too much traffic and people are stopping their downloads midway which clogs up the server. If you can actually watch the video online, you shoudn't have problems. Please be patient.

You can access the gallery from the forum now. Look at the top of your forum page and click on SRK Gallery.

Thanks for the fast responce! But I only come into the forum over a link in my browser. The Galery and Front Page Link work, but both don´t accept my new password. That´s my problem. And I´m a little bit scared to delete the link out of my browser.

I've got the same problem..perhaps you can help me too:confused: :(

Looks like you have to login to the front page when you first enter the site and from there onto the forum. Once you do that, you can return to the front page and gallery using the links on top of the forum page.

If you bookmark the forum page and enter that way you will have the password problem.

Try what I've suggested and let me know if that works. :)

When you get to the file, click on the drop down menu and choose 'add to cart'. Then you 'download in zip'.

Just I relised that some people can sign to the front page not to the Gallery and others can sign for both but can't download from the Gallery , for me I still cant sign for the front page either to the gallery . so I can't see any thing , is there any thing I can do may able me to sign to the Front Page or to the gallery? or its still the problem unsolved properly so some people other than me got the same problem ? please answer me if posible . You're not the only one who's having problems with the Front Page and Gallery and the webmaster is trying to fix it. So don't worry, it will get fixed. :)

A friend from me wanted to register but even this doesn´t work, neither in the gallery nor in the forum. I also registered in the gallery with another email-address. I got the message that the registration was correct but I din´t got the mail for activating. :notworkin

Indeed, the homepage is shown for a second or so and then I got redirected to a Russian site, the ip adress of that is 93.158.134.3. Only the direct link into the forum works (...org/forcon/).

Forget the Front Page and Gallery and go to Maryah's site for videos and SRKFanatic's site for pics.
