GUIDELINE FOR POSTING OF COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL
This forum is an international community with members from all over the world. Each country's copyright laws are different. This is a very gray area, since there is no international agreement in place. Therefore, the Management of this forum is making an effort to be fair while avoiding legal problems from copyright owners and also following ethical guidelines.
Before you post links to any copyrighted content on this forum, ask yourself these questions:
Is the material available for purchase either locally or on the internet, or will it be in the foreseeable future? (i.e. announced or expected soon?)
Will the download of this material deprive the copyright holders of rightful profit?
Is it the entire content of the copyrighted item? (movie? CD?)
If the answer to any of these questions is "YES" then DO NOT post links to the material on this forum. We understand that many people do not have easy access to Indian DVD and CD purchase, but there are many other websites where material can be found. We prefer to maintain this site as an SRK discussion forum, with an attached Gallery of material selected by the admins.
SO WHAT DOES ALL THIS REALLY MEAN? SEE THESE EXAMPLES OF WHAT'S ALLOWED AND NOT ALLOWED:
Links for movies or movie soundtrack albums (or tracks from those albums) ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Links for any recorded TV programs, like interviews and promos, ARE ALLOWED.
Links for promotional material like theatrical trailers ARE ALLOWED.
NOTE: An exception will be followed in the posting of songs from past SRK movies, but only when posted in the Media Gallery by forum management. Current movies' songs will not be posted.
These rules are only a guideline. The forum management reserves the right to interpret specific instances on a case-by-case basis. If the situation arises where we feel the spirit of the rules are being broken or abused, we may take action on the offender(s).
