It's a slide show, there's 2 pics from Chak De India too. JBJ isn't appealing to me, eventhough it has Preity in it. She looks pretty though. I really wanna watch Laga Chunari Mein Daag! I'm glad they changed the name to that instead of Chooriya, such a boring title.

Is Madhuri Dixit in Bollywood to stay?
Posted on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 (EST)
When Madhuri Dixit returned to Mumbai along with her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, and sons, Arin and Ryan, for her comeback film <i>Aaja Nachle</i> it is unlikely she realized how quickly she would get embroiled in controversies.

08 May 2007 (Sawf News) - When Madhuri Dixit returned to Mumbai along with her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, and sons, Arin and Ryan, for her comeback film, Aaja Nachle, it is unlikely she realized how quickly she would get embroiled in controversies.
Soon after her return there was speculation that her marriage was on the rocks because she admitted Arin, 4, and Ryan, 2, into a school. However, Madhuri clarified that her sons were at the playschool stage and were having a ball with their loving grandparents in Mumbai while she completed filming.
Madhuri has consistently maintained that she is in India only for Aaja Nachle and would go back once the film is completed.
The film, being produced under the Yash Raj banner and directed by Anil Mehta, is a musical centered around the making of a play during which an aging actress, her director (and ex-lover) and a young actress discuss love, life, aging and their work. It features Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor and Divya Dutta.
However, speculation about Madhuri's future plans persists. According to HT City the 40-year-old was recently in Bangalore to take a new 'look' test for Feroz Nadiadwala's Hera Pheri III.
Madhuri's secretary, Rakesh Nath, denies that her visit to Bangalore is an indication she is planning to stay on in Bombay.
"She is in India only for Aaja Nachle after which she'll go back to the US," he says dutifully.
On another front choreographer turned film director Saroj Khan is aggravated with Madhuri because Yash Raj Films opted for Vaibhavi Merchant as the choreographer for Aaja Nachle. The job, believes Saroj, should have been hers because in the past she has choreographed several chart busting numbers for Madhuri.
Saroj holds Madhuri at least partially responsible for the professional slight by the Chopras because Madhuri did not weigh in for her.

Surprised? Well, that's coz it is Jaideep Sahni's next story... and i have decided to look out for everything he writes with bated breath.

Saw both promos with Chak De India. Lagaa's song "Hum to aise hain bhaiyya" was quite brilliant, but Rani might struggle to pull off a prostitute. Plus, but she looks stunning in the earlier version. Konkana Sen Sharma is always brilliant, but Abhishek looks out of place here.
But the Aaja Nachale first look promo generated a deafening noise in the theater here. I was one of them shouting and cheering at the top of my voice. Madhuri looks as stunning as ever, and I will definitely watch this film, just for her sheer magic.

someone from ff forums who watched the trailor along with lcmd had this to say about it:
*spoilers*
it starts off with madhuri narrating how her town used to be, how everyone loved to dance and she takes us to her fav spot. then it cuts to the present and she says how they want to build over that spot and how the town is lifeless and boring. so she vows to bring dance back to her community and then we see all these horrible dancers trying to dance properly...like konkona, kunal, ranvir, etc. and it also shows a bit of the song "show me your jalwa" (dancing on the streets) which is nice and then "nachle" which is even better (thats the one in the blue outfit from the original trailer). ooo and right before it says "november 16" there's a lil tap dance from madhuri like 2 seconds long haha
it was a good promo, she looked GREAT but for some reason it didnt seem as energetic as a madhuri dixit comeback should be. maybe i was just expectin too much though!
to me it sounds great!am really waiting for it! :D

The theme tune that plays with the AN trailor is a lift. There is a popular Bengali song (its kind of a folk tune but has also been used in film) with that tune. Although I am not totally sure if the Bengali song is not a lift from some other regional song :P... but Aja Nachley's tune is definitely not original.

Wow, Madz looks FANTASTIC!!! I'm looking forward to this one now! I agree with ppl about the title track - it isn't as great as it could've been but hey, it's got Madz dancing to it so it's going to be a hit anyways.
I was disappointed by the choreography for the title track though (from what I've seen from the promos), Vaibhavi Merchant's getting really repetitive and there's nothing new I've seen in her work for a while now. And especially with a great dancer like Madhuri dancing to the track, she could've come up with something A LOT better...

Fantastic beginning for AAJA NACHLE
Joginder Tuteja, IndiaGlitz [Monday, October 15, 2007]
Madhuri Dixit has done it.
Making a much awaited comeback, she has managed to get all the attention that she rightly deserves. Promotion of her AAJA NACHLE has begun with a big bang in the weekend gone by and if initial reactions are anything to go by, YASH RAJ FILMS have a deifnite winner in hand.
A three minute theatrical promo has met with a fantastic response in multiplexes across the country where whistles, claps and an overall euphoric mood was observed when Madhuri was seen dominating the frames. She has succeeded in giving the right vibes which indicate that she had never been away.
The film's theme too deals with a triumphant spirit of an underdog taking over the mighty and winning against all odds.
sounds very much like CDI!
the title track is good.can't wait for the soundtrack to release.

I loved the songs..(just listened to samples) they sound great especially the Aaja Nachle song..I loved Soniye Mil Ja..madhuri sounds awesome..she's like talking at the beginning ans stars to sing as the song goes on..the only song that I don't like is Dance with Me..it's whole english and IMO doesn't sound like a bollywood song..but more of a english song..anyways I loved the songs this album is gonna rock for sure :boogie: by the way the song samples are on the YashRaj site

Music of Aaja Nachle serves to be special. And the reasons are more than one.
a) a Nachle THE comeback film of Madhuri Dixit. Of course, there is no question of a compromise when it comes to music here.
B) The film's title. When a movie itself screams 'come dance', it should have enough ammunition in it's soundtrack to make you dance indeed.
c) The Yash Raj factor. After Jhoom Barabar Jhoomey desperately need a hit soundtrack. The need of the situation is much more than a single super successful track (Chak De India) or a critically appreciated album (Laaga Chunari Mein Daag).
Do the composer duo Salim-Sulaiman and lyricist team of Piyush Mishra, Jaideep Sahni and Asif Ali Beg do well to get the desired results? The way it turns out eventually is that the album isn't quite 'special' (as one would have hoped) but does have a few tunes which should make you play them on for some time to come at least. In the nutshell, is it a superhit album in the wings for Yash Raj Films? Not quite as they may have to wait longer!
Write your own music review of Aaja Nachle
Title song ‘Aaja Nachle is the kind of track that Madhuri Dixit fans would have been waiting to see her in! This Piyush Mishra song has all in it that gives Madhuri ample opportunity to get into a 'jhatak-matak' act which is bound to be lapped up by her fans worldwide. A stage performance, ‘Aaja Nachle’ has a controlled Sunidhi Chauhan singing with aplomb. She gets the right 'ada' in her rendition hence doing well to suit the kind of image that Madhuri has built over the years.
With strong Indian classical influence, Salim-Sulaiman get the Indian mood right for this song that has a rustic edge to it and reminds one of Madhuri's own 'Chane Ke Khet Mein' from Anjaam. A sure shot popular track in the kitty for Madhuri here. The only song to find a repeat version in the album, ‘Aaja Nachle’ is heard in a 'reprise' version at the end of the album which is thankfully different from oh-so-common fly-a-dozen remix versions!
After some 'naach-gaana', it is time to get into a romantic mood with 'Ishq Hua'. With a young feel to it, this Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal sung track is a mix of poetry and conventional Hindi movie lyrics by Jaideep Sahni (also the writer of the film), all of which makes for a good listening.
Salim-Sulaiman get the melody working for this soothing track which is quite easy on ears, courtesy some soft arrangements. 'Ishq Hua' has a Yash Raj stamp all over it and has a certain cute element to it which should make it popular amongst kids as well!
It is a delight to hear Richa Sharma sing 'Show Me Your Jalwa' which is an addictive song from the word GO. Inspite of a jingle feel to it which sets you thinking about such music being heard in countless ads, it is hard to ignore the sheer rhythm on which the song is based.
With Kailash Kher and Salim Merchant as Richa's male singing partners, 'Show Me Your Jalwa' by Jaideep Sahni is truly rustic in appeal and brings the feeling of a small town setting well in spite of the catch line of the song being in English. While Richa is just perfect in her rendition here, she also sets the right platform for Madhuri to actually 'show her jalwa'.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the man from whom one tends to expect a lot whenever his name appears in credits, croons 'O Re Piya'. Jaideep Sahni is at the helm of writing for third song in a row which is not really a kind of romantic number which one expects from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. A situational track with shades of a 'qawalli' setting, 'O Re Piya' takes some time to register itself in the mind of a listener.
Yet another number which is easy on ears, 'O Re Piya' would be enjoyed more with the narrative rather than being played out loud before one has witnessed the situation in the film where the song appears. A song that boasts of good quality but doesn't quite make for a popular track in the offering.
If there is one thing that strikes most about 'Soniye Mil Ja', it is the sound of 'ahas' and 'ohos' which gets the celebration mood rolling. Madhuri Dixit's singing is another good reason to give 'Soniye Mil Ja' a hearing since she adds certain spunk to the proceedings with Sunidhi Chauhan pitching in with a bit as well.
A track about arrival of youth which in turn is a matter of celebration, 'Soniye Mil Ja' is yet another rooted number which finds its base in the interiors of the country and would be appreciated more after one has seen it with the movie. Also, Piyush Mishra's lyrics are different from 'pyaar-mohabbat' routine and instead talk about situations in simple words sans any complications with incidents from everyday life.
After 'Ishq Hua', 'Is Pal' is the second hardcore romantic track to arrive in the album. Yet again, the singing 'jodi' is the same with Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal though the lyricist changes from Jaideep Sahni to Piyush Mishra. In fact, the overall mood created by 'Is Pal' is similar to that of 'Ishq Hua' and if you a die hard romantic, it may not be a bad idea to put both the songs together in a repeat mood and play them for hours at stretch. No, 'Is Pal' may not be the next chartbuster track in the offering but those who swear by melodious music and love to be entertained with soothing numbers, this is just the right one!
An out and out situational track which is perhaps made for a situation for a stage performance in Aaja Nachle comes in the form of 'Koi Patthar Se Na Maare'. Musically, this one written by Piyush Mishra is the weakest of the lot musically as it hardly comes with a retention value. A slow moving pensive number with Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam at the helm, 'Koi Patthar Se Na Maare' gets poetic but tests the patience of a listener who till this point was enjoying a mix of melody and rhythm in the offering. Skip this one.
New find Sonia Saigal croons the English track 'Dance With Me' penned by Asif Ali Beg who in the past has written for films like Neal N Nikki, Dhoom 2 and Victoria No. 203 amongst others. Surprisingly, the dance number here isn't quite the kind which makes you go 'wow' and play the track in a repeat mode. The song sounds like an 80s disco track and even the arrangements are hardly the kind which suit the grandeur of a Yash Raj setting. Very average with all hopes centered on the eventual picturisation of the song!
In the end, one still feels that there could have been more to the film's soundtrack to make it outstanding, something which is not really the case. One misses the presence of something exceptional the music of Aaja Nachle; not quite an unreasonable demand to begin with! Of course 'Koi Patthar Se Na Maare' and 'Dance With Me' don't really make you go for that 'repeat' option but then there are definite hits like Aaja Nachle and 'Show Me Your Jalwa waiting to explode with good melodies like 'Ishq Hua' and 'Is Pal' sure to catch the fancy of those who are in love.

Being a huge Madhuri fan, I am hugely dissapointment by the music. Its pathetic by me. Any other actres and the reviewrs would have rippewd it and i think that it is due to Madhuri taht we are seeing OK reviews.
The justification may be that 'it is as per the film requirement'. Stil, after CDI , Salim-Suleiman had all the reasons for giving something better/classy.
Not more than 6.5/10 by me.

I quite like Is Pal, Ishq Hua and O Re Piya. It is definitely better than Saawariya music but then I am partial to Madhuri and maybe that's why I like it. I was hoping for more classical sounding songs but this is not bad.

I too was expecting something extra-ordinary as I too am a huge fan of the queen, but my first impression is ( just like Joginder Tuteja, another Madhuri fan ) that there is an effort to re-create an 'Ek Do Teen' of 'Chane Ke Khet Mein' rather than something good befitting her return.

So far I've heard the Title song, Is Pal, Dance With Me, Ishq Hua and Koi Patthar Se. and they are not bad at all. They have nice drum beats in them.
Koi Patthar has got a classical bent to it.
Dance With Me is fully in English so I don't like it too much.
Is Pal and Ishq Hua are sung by Sonu and Shreya. They are soft melodious pieces.
O Re Piya is by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (of Jag Soona Soona fame). I like his voice and this song is very soft. It has traditional Indian beats with harmonium and Ghungrus (bells).
Show Me Your Jalwa sounds like a village song and then to have an English 'show me your' in it sounds so odd. It's like adding English in Phir Raat Kati of Paheli. But it's not bad, it's an ok song.
Soniye Mil Ja is also a rural-ish song sung by Sukhwinder. Maybe the whole movie is set in some town, I dunno.
The last 2 are more situational songs which might sound better with the scenes.
All in all a mildly pleasant album, not interesting like OSO but these songs sound better to me than Saawariya album.

The music won't catch on because none of the songs are catchy enough for that. Not the type you can dance to or hear nonstop in your car.

loooking at it the other way... if the film is good, the music can become popular.
u cant judge every film's music with whether it can be played in the car or in a nightclub. Its not that kinda music. AN's music will depend a lot on the situations and the setting of the film.
ssonde
Oct-25-07, 10:11 AM
Yeah probably something like CDI...
But the problem here is unlike CDI the music in this film is an integral part of the story...since the story itself is about street theatre the films success depends to a large extent on the success of the music before the release of the film and not after...of course popularity of the music cannot be judged by how many times it is played at nightclubs...but the music has got to catch the fancy of the people...take Lagaan or Veer-Zaara for instance...the music for both these films was extremely situational and not racy in that sense but the music was popular before the movie released...but then again you are talking about geniuses like Rahman and Madan Mohan...wouldnt be fair to compare Salim-Sulaiman against them...
That said i like the music of AN and hope the music as well as the film is a resounding success (but not more than CDI and OSO :D)...
pokeye
Oct-25-07, 10:33 AM
I agree that the music is very important for the film. But to be true to the story the music of AN has to be very 'street theaterish'... which it is. But remember, street theater is no longer popular... the urban youth is not attracted to it... so it is different from say a Dil To Pagal Hai, which was another dance drama from YRF... but it was the popular kind of dance and music. That is why I insist, the music of AN, inspite of it being a dance drama, is very much linked with the setting, emotons, visuals and characters of the film. It is a different subject and not very identifiable... so it will take time. The music will become popular, provided the film is good.
That's what Komal implied in his interview. He says Madhuri fans will go for the 1st weekend but if music doesn't succeed then it will be difficult to draw the public in.
Abaya, same thing for CDI, the music wasn't special at all. It wasn't a big hit. But when the film came out, everyone loved it because it was such a great film and because of SRK. So I'm thinking, maybe it doesnt matter too much about music. The film has to be good and Madhuri has to give an amazing performance(I'm hundred percent positive she will win best actress this year). And then word of mouth will take over.
palacerani
Oct-25-07, 11:36 AM
Even in CDI, the title song is the most popular, the rest are not.
If the title of a movie is Aaja nachle (let's dance), the songs have to want to make you dance. If you can't accomplish that much what's the point?
pokeye
Oct-25-07, 11:47 AM
CDI title song became so popular only after the movie was released.
Jhoom Barabar jhoom did make people want to dance. But it made no difference. It all depends on the film. I have faith in Jaideep Sahni's writing... everything will fall in place once we the film is out. I really hope so, I've a very positive feeling for this movie.. I'm not exactly sure why.

The music of JBJ of course made a difference...the movie would not have opened as it did if it had not been for the music...just compare it to LCMD...the opening of LCMD was well below JBJ and one of the reasons was the non acceptance of music...
CDI is a completely different case...it was marketed right from the start as a no non-sense sports film and of course it had one very very important factor in its favour that all the other movies we are talking about dont have...SRK
AN needs to have music accepted by the masses for it to have a thunderous opening and then it can sustain/fail based on its merits...

Here's the article!!!
Mad at Adi Chopra
By Chaya S
http://deccan.com/TV%20Guide/27tvg1.jpg
Madhuri Dixit is miffed and is making no bones about it. Her much touted comeback film, Aaja Nachle, is slated for release as per schedule, but the lady is in no mood to promote the same. Mads who was supposed to visit Mumbai to promote the film, is taking her time to do so. According to the buzz, she’s not too happy with the final product. Since the film was shot in sync sound, Madhuri didn’t have a chance to see the film while dubbing. And since she wasn’t going to be around for the private screenings, Aditya Chopra decided to send her a tape of the film through his trusted assistant.
That’s when Mads went mad with rage. Chunks of her scenes were edited from the film. This apparently happened after Adi saw the film’s rushes and realised that he needed to give the film a younger look. He decided to highlight the scenes between Konkona and Kunal Kapoor, thereby chopping off Madhuri’s portions. But the past reigning queen wasn’t ready to be singled out for such shoddy treatment the second time around, after Sanjay Bhansali had played the trick on her during Devdas.
Madhuri has refused to promote the film and is seriously considering other comeback options even as Yash Chopra himself is trying to make peace with his favourite actress. Can Madhuri make the big timers of Bollywood dance to her tunes? Only time can answer that question.
However, in the Chopras’ defense it might be said that they are being extra cautious about their films after suffering heavy losses with Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Tara Rum Pum and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom at the box-office. The only saving grace for Yashraj this year has been Shah Rukh’s Chak De, which has probably made them realise the hard way that they need SRK for their success as much as he thrived on Mohabattein and Veer Zaara. So now, they are making all attempts to woo srk back into their camp and have even offered him the price he demands from banners outside. That was the reason the big two had a showdown and now it seems like a moral victory for SRK. But the scorpion king, not known to forgive and forget is dismissing all overtures from the Chopra banner and is looking for fresh directors to work with, giving a fresh take to his future career.

Jimmy Sheirgill takes on Yash Raj Films
Joginder Tuteja, IndiaGlitz [Saturday, October 27, 2007]
Jimmy Sheirgill may have seen little box office success with films like RAQEEB, DELHII HEIGHTS, VICTORIA NO. 203 and CHODDON NAA YAAR performing poorly. He was appreciated though for his villainous act in EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD that brought bring him bouquets from all over.
Now Jimmy is hopeful of STRANGERS to rake in some moolah as well even though it is pitted against none other than Yash Raj Films' AAJA NACHLE. Since both the films are slated to arrive on 30th November, won't STRANGERS fear being crushed under the opposition?
Says Jimmy, "See, there is a different market for both the films. AAJA NACHLE seems like a feel good offering from the production house while STRANGERS is a thriller about two strangers who meet on a train and plot a crime. I guess since STRANGERS belongs to a different genre, it will survive based on it's strengths."Coming from first time director Aanand L Rai, STRANGERS also stars Kay Kay Menon, Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni in pivotal roles. The film is being presented by Sahara One Motion Pictures.

'I call him Sex-symbol type'
By Subhash K Jha
Call it the commercialization of Konkona Sen. But now Konkona is fully into commercial cinema. The latest film that she's shooting is proof of that.
A film called Right Or Wrong directed by the highly-regarded writer- turned -director Neeraj Pathak, Right Or Wrong pairs Konkona with first-time co-star Sunny Deol and old co-star Irrfan Khan.
"I just shot for the film for two days. Then I got conjunctivitis."
Right now Konkona is all revved up about the release of Laga Chunri Mein Daag specially her co-star Kunal Kapoor's high praise.
"Did Kunal really say I was like Mozart to his Salieri? Now that's sweet. Though I must tell you, I don't take anything he says very seriously. He's incurably mischievous. And we're constantly ribbing one another.
He calls me the National-award type. I call him the Sex-symbol type…We've done two back-to-back films together.
And I must tell you Aaja Nachle which is going to be my next release has been my most fun film in Mumbai. I enjoyed doing it as much as I enjoyed my mom's Mr & Mrs Iyer."
And what about the kiss with Kunal? "It's not a big deal. I've done kissing scenes in Mixed Doubles and I almost did one in Mr & Mrs Iyer (Rahul and I come close to kissing. But we didn't really kiss). I treat it like any normal scenes. But I won't do it for titillation."
She bursts into delighted chuckles at the mention of Laga Chunri Mein Daag. "I saw the film the other day and really liked it. Now let's see… you know, in a play you get instant reaction. But for a movie to register takes so much time.
We all look like a family in Chunri because we felt like a family. The atmosphere on the sets was by and large very relaxed. There was a constant chatter on the sets in Bengali. Almost everyone there spoke that language. As for Jaya-di, Rani and I, we do look like a mother and two sisters.
I think Pradeep-da (director Pradeep Sarkar) was very particular about getting the right faces to play the right characters. Jaya-di has played my mother in another film Rituparno Ghosh's Sunglass. So we did feel very close to one another.
However I don't think one needs to feel like a family to act comfortably. One has to be professional about these things."
Did she have a problem with the Hindi language? "Well, I grew up in a house where only Bengali was spoken. So I do have a problem with the gender in Hindi. But otherwise I think I manage quite well."

Plannet Bollywood Review of Music of AN:
Aaja Nachle- what a title, I’m sold by it completely! So can this soundtrack get us in the groove for a little foot tapping? Well as luck would have it listeners there’s not only magic in the title here since, for many of us, this was already an eagerly anticipated soundtrack carrying with it some degree of expectations; the YRF banner being one reason (wearing out very quickly admittedly!) but most important of all the fact that it marks the return of the queen of bollywood...the beautiful ‘Mohini’, the one and only…Madhuri Dixit (MD) in a musical produced by Aditya Chopra. Now can you see why all these factors collectively would present a challenge for any music director? Yes? So the next question is who would take on such a challenge?
Well YRF’s choice of music directors have been interesting of late albeit with mixed success, we have had the usual reliable music directors such as V-S (Ta Ra Rum Pum) and S-E-L (SEI and JBJ) but we have also had underutilised composers like Salim / Sulaiman Merchant (CDI) and Shantanu Moitra (LCMD). So the question is who gets the nod to show off their talents in a musical like Aaja Nachle? Why it’s the duo that brought us CDI of course! On paper, this is probably the best choice as CDI music was arguably the most original and refreshing of the lot (which is even more impressive considering the theme of the movie). Right, enough of that, let’s go find out if the soundtrack can stimulate our body and mind to get up and dance to the diva’s call of Aaja Nachle!
Ladies and Gentlemen! Please welcome the return of MD with the title track Aaja Nachle, a peppy all out showstopper that centres on the diva doing what she does best; dance and entertain! The catchy tune is dominated by classical instruments such as the dhol and tabla whilst the drums and violin add a melodious touch. Add to that Sunidhi Chauhan’s superb gusto vocals and some apt lyrics by Piyush Mishra and you have a winner right? Well yes and no. For a purely nostalgic trip marking the return of MD, it’s a good listen and you can expect plenty of fireworks on screen but apart from that let’s not get carried away with all the hysteria! The track is otherwise unspectacular on your ears and hardly leaves a lasting impression on you as the classic
‘Ek Do Teen’ did so many years ago. So what do you say…Aaja Nachle? Of course, but only onscreen with MD please!
Aaja Nachle Reprise is not your ordinary remix which is a good thing! So worth a listen.
And just when MD begins to dazzle you in the title track, another voice, much sweeter and subdued comes along and ushers your thoughts away with the opening liner hulchul hui, zara shor hua, dil chor hua, tere aur hua… marking the start of the next track, the romantic Ishq Hua. Those enchanting vocals are instantly recognisable and belong to…Shreya Ghoshal- WOW what an instant impact confirming this singer’s amazing talents! Sadly when the music kicks in it’s all a bit of an anticlimax; typical romantic arrangements with a monotonous tabla beat that sounds so average you want to hit the skip button! The composers display an apparent lack of inspiration here. Even the lyrics by Jaideep Sahni are of the ‘heard it before’ ilk. And try as they might, even the now classical pairing of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal can do little to save this track; indeed their talents are hardly tested. So…Aaja Nachle? Barely getting on my feet actually!
Thankfully some credibility is restored with the next track Show me your Jalwa, yes even with the presence of English words (as in the title) which are used in the main chorus. Firstly it gets back to the light-hearted dance theme that underlines the musical here. Secondly the extremely peppy music manages to hold your attention with sufficient variety in the arrangements which are modern yet always holding a traditional and soft classical qawaali-like structure. All things withstanding it’s the singers, Richa Sharma and Khailash Kher that turn out to be the aces in the pack delivering their vocals superbly! Even one of the composers, Salim Merchant gets in on the fun with the singing! The lyrics by Jaideep Sahni too are excellent and varied. If you give this one a chance you will almost certainly be heading to the dance floor, grabbing the mic and shouting Aaja Nachle!
Talking of dancing, you may as well take a break whilst listening to the next track, O Re Piya as it’s easily the slowest paced song here! But do not fret listeners, put your feet up for this one, take a deep breath and close your eyes, eventually after a few listens it will hopefully connect and become a satisfying and soothing experience- this is largely attributable to the soft percussion which leaves a delightful impression on the ears! The arrangements otherwise contain an interesting mix of classical melody and if you listen closely you will notice the pace changing sporadically especially with a nicely timed qawaali alaap. And then onto the singing, well listeners I ask you, do you need an excuse to listen to vocals as good as those uttered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan? After brilliant performances in Main Jahaan Hoon (Namaste London), Bhol Na Halke (JBJ) and lately Jag Soona Lage (OSO), the impressive singer gives us more evidence of his singing talents. One hopes to hear more from him in the near future. Lyrics by Jaideep Sahni are also noteworthy. Overall a very nice addition to the soundtrack if a tad lengthy!
If O Re Piya did not meet your approval then Soniye Mil Ja should make amends as it returns to the Show me your Jalwa mood, i.e. fun and dance! And if that wasn’t enough to get you on your feet then listen up, Madhuri Dixit herself performs the opening lines (and a few others) in brilliant fashion (which you sense have some underlying tone to her own comeback as well as that in the movie); contemplate for a second the meaning of these simple words:
Patang sang urr gaya bachpan, chanak chanak mann, dagar suhani re, niratpan aya ab tho kasak masakye kya mastani re …arre kya haye jawani ki hoti hai yehi nishani re…ke chitwan tirche tirche hui jaye haan ayi jawani re!
(Piyush Mishra)
Sukhwinder Singh then takes the mantle from MD and ups the ante with some great vocals (supported briefly by Sunidhi Chauhan). Salim Sulaiman really pep up the traditional dance music here supported by some crisp ‘dholak’ effects and hand clapping that will have your feet tapping in no time! The lyrics are likewise fun and frivolous with an underlying message so a job well done by Piyush Mishra. Although it’s a short song, Soniye Mil Ja is a worthy listen and whatever you do don’t miss out on MD’s rendition of the opening lines and a few lines in the middle and then get up and dance away to Sukhwinder’s uplifting tones….Aaja Nachle! Just remember to select the repeat button!
We then return to the romantic theme with the classical feeling Is Pal and before you ask, yes it is better than the earlier Ishq Hua albeit still well short of being anything special. At least that annoying beat (from Ishq Hua) has been replaced with a more interesting and classical tabla arrangement supported by a soothing flute and the strings of a beautiful sounding sitar. The formidable jori of Sonu and Shreya reconvene for another duet and you have to applaud their performance here, it’s as if they seek inspiration and perfection from hearing each other’s verses…this singing jori is brilliant and long may it continue! The words are penned by Piyul Mishra and are ok at best.
The penultimate track, Koi Patthar Se Na Maare is a completely situational number with an underlying sad tone. The less said about this track the better to be honest as it does nothing for Aaja Nachle’s audio offering. All three singers including Sunidhi, Shreya and Sonu provide adequate vocals. Lyrics by Piyush Mishra are average. Just hit the skip button as if this never existed!
The final track Dance with Me is even harder to fathom yet adds little more to the soundtrack so I will keep it short; it’s an all out English track accompanied with 80s beats, 80s singing (by Sonia Saigal) and well…everything about it takes you back to the 80s! As a friend remarked the ‘nonsensical’ lyrics (by Asif Ali Beg) sum it up perfectly:
Move it!….groove it!…show me show me show me how do groove it!
Overall Aaja Nachle is probably a winner more than it is a loser. It’s a winner because it features some strong traditional and semi classical music which holds an element of nostalgia to mark the return of the famous actress Madhuri Dixit. In addition, there are several tracks here that (with some perseverance) achieve the desired output in terms of getting you up and showing your Jalwa i.e. dancing and generally having fun! On the other hand it also disappoints coming from such talented composers of Salim Sulaiman as it generally lacks inspiration and innovation. However the soundtrack is a good pedestal for the movie to do well. Now it’s over to her majesty to perform some magic…and let’s face it who would refuse an invitation of ‘Aaja Nachle’ from the one and only Madhuri Dixit?

I like Nachley Reprise a lot.Such a *dhincak..dhincak* number  Prefer it over the original version. But I don't like the 'nachle...nachle' chorus in between.Sounds too much like Tabu's Rang de..rang de
Show me your Jalwa is such a crazy song.Forgettable but still catchy.

MUSIC REVIEW: Aaja Nachle
Madhuri Dixit's comeback vehicle surely scores high on its music
Madhuri: The biggest story of 2007
If Madhuri Dixit is not enough of a promise, try the soundtrack of the film. Music makers Salim and Suleiman seem to have gone all out for the music scape of this Aditya Chopra film.
Take the title track for example: sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, it starts off with a folksy prelude. We may be killed for saying this, but hey, is it not a straight lift form a very popular Bengali folk number (Dada paaye pori re?!). But let's not get petty here, the song is peppy, with enough dhol and drums and chorus to make you swing those hips a la Madhuri.
Next up, a slow, love song by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal has some lovely sarod interludes by Zarine Daruwala, combined with flute and santoor sounds. Nice! Salim-Suleiman's use of other traditional instruments such as rabab, dafli, sitar, udh and even madolin (and didn't we hear the sarangi and harmonium as well?) are laudable, as they come as a much-needed breather from programmed sounds.
Watch out also for O Re Piya, performed with a lot of soul by Rahat Fateh ali Khan. The song is a slow burner, passionate and achingly sweet. Listen to Rahat calling out O Re Piya in the beginning of the track… it tugs at your heartstrings. add to that old worldsy lyrics such as: Chalna ahiste ishq naya hai pahla yeh waada humne kiya hai... .Good job by lyricists Jaideep Sahni and Piyush Mishra.
Two tracks however take us by surprise: Koi patthar se na mare (which is a completely different version of the old classic) and Dance with me by jazz singer Sonia Sehgal. The latter has been picturised on Madhuri as she turns into a dance instructor in New York. The track is a blend of big band jazz and pop, well mastered.
Without getting into the nitty-gritty of the album, let us simply say, Aaja Nachle is high, really high on energy and joie de vivre. The film is about Madhuri's character Dia and her passion for dancing. The
music does justice to it and more.
Our verdict: Go for it! :boogie:

Madhuri: The biggest story of 2007
Even as the nation goes gaga over the Khans and the Kapoors, here's one woman standing tall
Move over Rani, Ash, Preity, Priyanka, the real queen bee of Bollywood is back and is beckoning all her fans with open arms. Literally. From atop the biggest billboards, the widest bus backs, and busiest bus stops, from street kiosks and on the small and big screen, Madhuri Dixit is inviting you to her dance fest Aaja Nachle, her arms open wide, that dazzling smile right in place. In an industry that's driven by the male ego, dominated by actors in their 40s, Madhuri is the sole actress, standing tall. And all by herself.
Aaja Nachle, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by ace cinematographer Anil Mehta (who's earlier works include Lagaan, KANK, Veer Zara among others), is being sold solely on Madhuri's star power. And the biggest testimony of this is her larger-than-life solo hoardings standing proud in the clutter of the Bachchans, Khans and Kapoors across the country.
Madhuri was last seen as Chandramukhi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas after which she went into a self imposed sabbatical. During that time Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta dominated the scene along with Ash, Kareena and Priyanka to a certain extent. But even now it's hard to imagine any of these ladies driving a project purely on the basis of their star power. Case in point is the recently released Laaga Chunari Mein Daag which was touted as Rani's big moment of glory, but failed to generate any buzz among her fans.
"Comeback! What comeback are we talking about?" asks Jackie Shroff who had quite a popular pairing with Madhuri once upon a time. He says emphatically, "She had never left the industry in the first place and continues to look as fresh as her Ram Lakhan days."
What's the industry buzz about Aaja Nachle? Trade expert Komal Nahta agrees that the Madhuri factor is the film's biggest strength. "The masses are still crazy to see her which is why there is some optimism about the film. Yet a clearer picture will emerge only when the advance booking opens". Nahta points out that while Madhuri is Aaja Nachle's trump card, having an equally strong hero would have helped the film (a la Aamir Khan in Kajol's comeback Fanaa). Irrespective of the box-office fate of Madhuri's film, it goes without saying that Aaja Nachle will be keenly watched. Even if it is by critics who would be only too keen to write her off.
On the positive side, Nahta however feels that Aaja Nahcle is a heroine-oriented subject tailor-made for Madhuri. This leaves little scope for any of the other actors, which is why no top hero would have even touched the film. Jackie argues that actors of every generation would still be keen on working with her. In fact if given an opportunity Jackie himself wouldn't mind sharing screen space with her again.
Madhuri has always been a fantastic dancer, and so when choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant was given a chance to work on the project, 'it was like a dream come true'. While her contract with the production house forbids her from commenting on her dance sequences in the film, Merchant says 'she is a diva in every sense of theword' "Aaja Nachle is a choreographers film from the word go and Madhuri fits the bill completely," she enthuses.
In the '90s Indra Kumar made a trilogy of superhits with Madhuri - Dil, Beta and Raja. Incidentally she won the best actress award for all three. Since then both have moved on, but Kumar maintains that there is no 'Madhuri Part 2' in the industry. "All this hype for Aaja Nachle is because Bollywood is still waiting for a worthy replacement". Kumar and Subhash Ghai are among the few Madhuri loyalists who claim to be looking for scripts to suite her stature.
It would perhaps be apt to sum this up with an anecdote from the Yash Raj studios. During the shoot of Aaja Nachle, Madhuri opted for a night schedule, so that she could spend time with her kids in the mornings. But there came a time when she had to shoot during the day. Yash Chopra got a custom-made play pen erected within the studio for her kids, while his wife Pam, went out shopping for toys and games for the two boys. It is not very often that production houses take such special care of an actress. Not unless you are a Madhuri Dixit, you know.

I dont know how difficult it would have been to get a good actor for the movie, but it would have certainly helped, although Madhuri is probably quite capable of handling it successfully all by herself.
Shibani Bhatija, who wrote script for Fanaa (and help Karan with KANK) said she was surprised that when Kajol said yes to Fanaa she said that she would like to work with Amir! We had heard that those two were not buddies!
It is said that Bollywood movies do better with a hero rather than with heroine only.
On the other hand, Madhuri might just do it all by herself! Looking forward to his movie.

Synopsis
After nearly a decade, an unexpected phone call shakes Dia (Madhuri Dixit) out of her dance rehearsal in New York.
Makarand (Darshan Zariwala), her teacher, her guru, is dying and she must return to Shamli town. The town where she grew up, the town where she learnt to live and to dance. Also the town she left on an impulse, severing ties with her parents and her people.
It is a poignant and troubled return; not only has her guru passed away but the institution that he so lovingly nurtured is in decay and under threat of demolition. Ajanta theatre, the once vibrant hub of the community, the place where Dia’s fondest memories are embedded must now be brought down because the local political authorities feel it a waste of prime real estate.
With the help of Doctor (Raghubir Yadav), the caretaker of Ajanta, Dia sets out on a mission to prevent the destruction and resurrect the spirit of Ajanta. In an atmosphere of mistrust, ridicule and active hostility, Dia picks up the gauntlet and agrees to achieve the near impossible task of putting together a theatrical production. She must also ensure that every member of the production is from Shamli town. She has only two months to prove her point or the bulldozers will be waiting.
In this context begins her tumultuous journey of dealing with small town prejudices, encountering the resentment of the powerful contractor, the cynicism of the local political powers, resolve the delicate tensions of inter personal relationships and rally her motley team of non starters - a low level muscle Imran (Kunal Kapoor), the local tomboy Anokhi (Konkona Sen), local ex-MLA Chaudhary Om Singh (Akhilendra Mishra), a vulnerable tea stall owner Mohan Sharma (Ranvir Shorey), a responsible government official Mr. Chojar (Vinay Pathak), a struggling insurance agent Sanjeev Mehta (Jugal Hansraj), the town vagabond Dhankuber (Nowaz) and a host of others.
She must create in this chaos in order to save Ajanta... in order to preserve what her guru so lovingly nurtured. She must create art in order to preserve what she believes is the soul of society.
The stage is finally set... Will it work? Won’t it?
Lights dim.
Crowds quieten.
Curtains rise on Ajanta.

A month back there was a lot of fanfare around Madhuri Dixit's comeback film AAJA NACHLE. Now it is barely a fortnight to go for the film's release and there is absolutely no buzz in the film's promotion.
Yash Raj Films' principle / strategy of under promoting their films is all fine but somehow for a project like AAJA NACHLE, a much better plan was the need of the hour.
With OM SHANTI OM and SAAWARIYA hogging all the limelight, JAB WE MET and BHOOL BHULAIYAA still going strong and GOAL & DUS KAHANIYAAN looking terrific, there hardly seems to be any built up towards the 23rd November release of AAJA NACHLE.
Now would there be some increment in heat for the film in days to come before December releases like Aamir Khan's TAARE ZAMEEN PAR and Akshay Kumar's WELCOME take center stage?

The whole nation has been missing Madhuri Dixit for too long but now that she is back we are sure that she is going to be back with a bang.
Madhuri arrived in Mumbai late on Tuesday night looking as stunning as ever and NDTV caught up with the dancing queen at the airport.
NDTV: Are you excited about Aaja Nach Le? It is a big comeback for you?
Madhuri: I am excited about Aaja Nach Le, I haven't seen the movie as yet but I want to see it. This is what we had planned that we will start the publicity 15 days before the movie's release.
: With such a big gap are there any nerves about the movie?
Madhuri: Nothing like that, every time your film releases there are lots of nerves and there are butterflies in your tummy. It is always unpredictable because you don't know what is going to happen.
NDTV: There are reports here suggesting that you have seen the initial promos of the film and you have not appreciated the film. While some say that you have seen the film and not liked it, would you like to clarify that?
Madhuri: These are just rumours. I haven't seen the movie yet and now that I am back I am going to see it. I took on this project because I felt that it had something for me and also because I had liked it and I was also excited about it. So, I am still excited and I hope that the people like the movie.
Madhuri: What did your family think of the film?
NDTV: My kids loved the song Aaja Nach Le, they have enjoyed the film and now that they see and recognise me on the screen. So they are excited and I am excited too.

Promotion for this movie seems to be majorly lacking. Sure, Madz is a big draw, but you need more than that.

Madhuri Dixit is back, in the city as well as on screen!
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/photo.cms?msid=2540440
Yes, the dhak-dhak girl stepped out of the Mumbai international airport at 2.30 am yesterday, her familiar million dollar grin lighting up the early morning.
The long-haul flight from her home in Denver, LA, had done nothing to wilt the face that has launched so many Bollywood hits. In fact, Madhuri looked as fresh as a proverbial daisy. At that hour too, the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is a beehive of activity, and it did not take more than a few seconds for passengers and their relatives to recognise her. “It’s always a warm feeling to touch Mumbai’s soil,” said Madhuri waving out to strangers. “The people, the air, and things around, all have a sense of familiarity. It’s an extremely comforting feeling for me.”
She is back for little more than a fortnight. Last time she was here, it was to shoot over seven months for her comeback film Aaja Nachle , produced by the Yashraj banner. This time, she has come to promote the film. “That’s why I did not bring along my sons Arin and Ryan, as I’m here for only 20 days. My husband Ram is joining me later,” she said.
Madhuri intends to pack in as much as she can in these 20 days. Visiting reletives, meeting filmmakers and, yes, promoting the film. “I am very proud and happy with the film. And even though I have seen it all, there is still a sense of anxiety, excitement and nervousness before a new release, that’s because the audiences can always spring a surprise,” said the gorgeous actress.
The moment she landed, Madhuri asked about the latest buzz in Mumbai on Om Shanti Om and Saawariya . “But I don’t want to be influenced by others’ opinions, so I am going to see both films myself, and very soon, though I don’t know which one I am going to see first. I have worked with Sanjay in Devdas , and I know his mad love for filmmaking. And Shah Rukh Khan, well, he’s been one of my favourite co-stars. I love him and his unbounding energy. I am going to watch OSO for him,” Madhuri revealed.
She regretted that she could not get home in time for Diwali, last week. “Diwali in Denver, is a time to gorge on sweets. And I ate so many, put on so many calories, that I was afraid to come back like that,” she reported. “Fortunately, I could get rid of the weight as well. I am coming here to promote my new film and I can’t afford to be seen with any extra flab!”

Can Yash Raj act ‘pricey’ for Aaja Nachle?
The battle lines have been drawn once again between Yash and Aditya Chopra and the exhibitors of the multiplexes with the imminent release of Yash Raj Films’ Aaja Nachle which has been aggressively promoted as Madhuri’s comeback film. With the last few films that have come from the Yash Raj stable having flopped at the turnstiles the multiplexes are turning on the heat for the Chopras for their latest venture.
If we go back in time it was only just on the eve of the release of the Aamir Khan-Kajol starrer Fanaa that both parties were having serious issues with each other and matters were resolved only when the three multiplexes agreed to the profit-sharing formula formulated by Yash Chopra & Co. The result of which was that Yash Raj Films was to earn the major share of revenue from the films produced by their banner.
The battle between the multiplexes and Yash Raj Films which began during the release of Fanaa continued to rage thereafter with multiplexes having to bow down to them for films like Dhoom 2, Ta Ra Rum Pum and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
Unfortunately the year 2007 hasn’t been much kind for the Yash Raj camp. While Ta Ra Rum Pum was far away from being a hit, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was a clear disaster. The audiences even rejected Laaga Chunari Mein Daag outright. Chak De India was the only exception that worked in their favour.
Now, if sources are to be believed the owners of these multiplexes are looking to turn the tables on Yash Chopra & Co with Aaja Nachle up for release in the next couple of weeks. Perhaps the camp’s high handedness will now strike back on them. Reportedly the exhibitors are even contemplating to forego Yash Raj if the banner acts ‘pricey’ for Aaja Nachle.
We won’t we surprised if Yash Raj bows down to the exhibitors demands, this time around. As they say, every dog has its day...

Nice promo. She's such a beautiful dancer.
Album: Aaja Nachle
Music: Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam
Label: HMV
- Rageshree Neyogi
After a hiatus of five years, the dancing queen who captured millions of hearts with her smile and jhatkas returns to the silver screen with Aaja Nachle.
Yes, we are talking about none other than Madhuri Dixit, who makes a comeback with this film under the Yash Raj banner.
Choreographer Anil Mehta makes his debut as a director with Aaja Nachle, and he couldn’t have asked for more — Madhuri Dixit in the lead role with Akshaye Khanna, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Kunal Kapoor; Salim and Sulaiman Merchant as the music composers; and Aditya Chopra as the producer.
He surely has some of the brightest colours in his palette.
The title of the film sends an open invitation to dance your heart out, but does the musical score of Aaja Nachle compel you to let your hair down?
Let’s check out what the team of Salim-Sulaiman and lyricists Piyush Mishra, Jaideep Sahni, and Asif Ali Beg has in store for us.
Madhuri promises to dance her way into our hearts once again with Aaja Nachle, the title track of the film.
This rendition crooned by the versatile Sunidhi Chauhan has a rustic folk music feel to it, as it uses a lot of rawanhattha, tabla and dholak in the background.
With its crispy lyrics and synchronised beats, this number provides Madhuri with the right platform to set the stage on fire.
One can smell love in the air with the track Ishq Hua. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam, this soft romantic number is just a run-of-the-mill affair.
Show Me Your Jalwa is an assortment of folk, qawwali and pop that takes you to Madhuri’s Mera Piya Ghar Aaya days.
The promos in fact have our lady showing her jalwa to the utmost. The talented combination of Richa Sharma, Kailash Kher and Salim Merchant lend their powerful voices to give this rendition its vibrant, folksy appeal.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan takes you to a different level with the soulful Ore Piya. This Sufi-inclined number is purely situational with hues of qawwali thrown in at interludes.
Soniye Mil Ja is a teasing country number with Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan bringing in a lot of chirpiness into it.
The surprise element is Madhuri introducing the track with her peppy wordings (Patang sang ud gayaa bachpan…aayi jawani re) and thereafter pitching in intermittently.
Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal come together again to sing Is Pal, another soft romantic melody.
This rendition, with tinges of Ishq Hua in the background, is pleasant and soothing to the ears, but then again nothing extraordinary.
Koi Patthar Se Na Maare perhaps depicts the Laila-Majnu saga on stage. Crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sonu Nigam, this is an out-and-out situational track with melancholy written all over it.
Dance With Me, sung by Sonia Sehgal, tries to bring the 1980s disco music alive once again.
But whether or not we would like to be taken back to that era is the question. And if at all we would like to fly back in time, why should we settle for this “inspired” version of the rich, flamboyant music of that period?
The album also has Aaja Nachle reprise for all of you who forgot to tap their feet to the original number mesmerised by Madhuri’s charisma.
The album is not much of a music lover’s delight, but one hopes the tracks will be visually more appealing.

^^ 2 weeks, not one.
this one also seems like an "apologetic release" from YRF, much like CDI. They deserve more JBJs and LCMDs I think :D

they already planned to start the "big" promotion 15 days before the release..that's what Madhuri said at the airport when she arrived in India..and if you go to YRFs website you can read that they have already held an Aaja Nachle dance competition in the UK...so the promotion is preety much going to be great in the coming days..and I think that this movie will rock..

Irrfan does a guest appearance in Aaja Nachle
By Subhash K. Jha, November 20, 2007 - 12:40 IST
Post his recent successes Irrfan Khan’s price for endorsing the Hutch cellphone has shot up. Says Irrfan, "I've done five ads for Hutch and this is my only endorsement. I didn't have to ask them to raise my fee. They did it on their own. I definitely feel that if any product or company is making money out of me I should be paid accordingly. But I'm realistic about my fee. I'd never over-price myself."
The talented Irrfan Khan's career seems to be caught in a curious cul de sac. On the one hand, media sources accuse him of coveting only lead roles. On the other hand, he has recently done guest appearances in two films only because he believed in the director. After a cameo in Wes Anderson's just-released Darjeeling Limited, Irrfan will be seen in a brief but important guest appearance in Yashraj Film’s Aaja Nachle. "I play a single-minded businessman who doesn't have much respect for the fine arts and would happily sacrifice creativity for commerce. It’s a small but significant part and I'm being billed as a guest. Hopefully, it would lead to bigger things with them," informs Irrfan.
This is evidently the actor's way of getting into the glam-league. He seems to be emulating what Lara Dutta had done. By putting in guest appearances in Yashraj's Fanaa recently, Lara landed up with a plum role in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Reportedly, Irrfan is soon to be cast in a major role in a Yashraj film. "Well," he admits reluctantly, "Lots of things are happening after Metro and The Namesake. The big banners now have confidence in me."
In Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4, Irrfan attempts comedy for the first time. "Not quite the first time," he corrects the assumption. "I've done full-on comedy in Aditya Bhattacharya's Dubai Returned. In Krazzy 4the comic element comes out of honesty within the character. You know I try to find an element of humour in whatever I play. Realistic acting is otherwise boring. Even in Metro I found occasions to introduce humour into my rather sad interactions with Konkona."
He says he shares a very special rapport with Konkona. "She's very inspiring. Now I'm working with her in Right Ya Wrong …It's easy for me to work with her because we're collaborative, not competitive. Acting has to be collaborative, otherwise the film suffers. I love to see all my co-stars feel equally for the story. I am done with films where I survive with gimmickry. Even in a film like Pooja Bhatt's Rog where I had to fall in love with a woman in a photograph I felt challenged. On the other hand, some films where I've worked in an ensemble cast where I've just tried to draw attention to myself."
Currently, Irrfan is in the process of completing two ensemble films Krazzy Four and Sunday. "Now I’m longing to work with Sriram Raghavan, Pradeep Sarkar and Rakeysh Mehra."
