Travel Meeting Forum?

Not sure if this was suggested before, but I noticed that members tend to include travel and meeting discussions into threads that are about various and sundry events – e.g. wax figure unveiling. There will be more such discussions coming up as more events take place, like the awards in Istanbul later this year or SRK's 2008 tour if it happens. Most members will not be going to those events, but they may still want to read about the event, not about members' travel plans and calls for getting together. So my suggestion is to have a separate forum with threads dedicated to travel and getting together.

Also this could be expanded to make announcements like: "I will be on a business trip in Paris on days x,y,z and would like to get together for a cup of coffee. If anyone is interested send me a PM" – this is just an example.

People could also announce an interesting event happening in their area, like a cultural Indian fest, book fair, etc. and inquire about the possibility of meeting with other members of this site.
