SRKPagali.net, which specializes in subtitled SRK media, is closely affiliated with srk.org, so I hope Abaya won't mind me posting this here...

Thanks for your patience, folks! We're back!!!

SRKPagali.net is back onlilne, after being down for over a week. Let me take this opportunity to warn everybody out there against dreamhost.com, my lately ex web host! They decided I had too much stuff on my website and too much activity, and just cut me off, even though I was well within the stated quotas of my webhosting plan. Stay far far away from them!

I'm now hosting the Main pages, support forum and Gallery on my own home website, so you might occasionally experience some slowdowns, but it's the only way I can have control over the website. The actual media files are still served up from the same webhost (NOT dreamhost!) where they've been for quite a while, so hopefully you won't see a change in download speeds of media.

The material in the Gallery is being re-linked as quickly as we can, starting with the KBC material, up through episode 46 at this time. They're located at: http://www.srkpagali.net/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=57 Many thanks to Reema (SRKFanatic) for her help in this project!

Thanks for all your PM's, feedback, and emails about the fate of the website. We'll try to keep it going!

Oh, I forgot to mention -- The Gallery members' list was lost in the transfer process, so you'll need to re-register at the Gallery. The forum members' list was intact, though, so you should be OK there.

As before, separate registration is required for the Gallery and the forum, although it's fine to use the same username/password for both.

It was on the front page, Roseshah. And a note was on the first page of hte Gallery too... Maybe you went directly to the Gallery, and didn't see the note?? I guess I need to make it bigger. :)

You only have to re-register for the Gallery, and since all the users were wiped out there, it shouldn't tell you your name is not available.

Update May 5, 2007: As of today, www.srkpagali.net has moved from my home server, which at least got us through the KBC season and kept us going. I know it was slow sometimes though, because my internet connection here at home isn't very fast. I'm sure many people experienced slowdowns and timeouts, just as I did.

I've moved it to LFCHosting.com in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I did a lot of research all over the web, and they seem to have an excellent reputation for stability, service, and dependability. So far their customer support with the few questions I've had has been outstanding! So wish us luck...

Big big thanks go to Ujjwala and SRKFanatic (Reema) for helping with the move! You're the greatest, girls!

During the time the website was temporarily on my home server -- from Apr 10 thru May 5, 2007 -- the Email Confirmations for new Gallery registrations had to be disabled because of a mail server malfunction. This was unsafe because it could allow hackers and robots to access the site. Therefore, I'm sorry, but I have to ask that website members register again at the Gallery (Hopefully for the last time! :D ) so that their Email address can be validated when they click the link in their confirmation email. Most of the Forum members' list remained intact -- a few recent registrations and messages may have been lost, however.

Thanks for your understanding and support! If you have problems re-registering, or logging in after you do, then you might need to clear the 'cache' in your browser, which remembers the old website location. Don't know how to do that? Go here and click on the browser you're using: Clearing Your Browser's Cache Memory (http://support.lexisnexis.com/lexiscom/record.asp?ArticleID=wg_cache)
