Shafaq (my wife) Is Finally Here ♥

Sweet members of SRK.org,
The day has come, finally thanks to Allah Shafaq arrived at San Francisco Airport last Saturday and has made it safely here. She left Karachi around 11:30pm Friday Night (Paki time) and arrived at SFO around 1:00. I thought Immigrations & Customs were going to give her a hard time and it was going to take 2 hours before she stepped out but she was out by 1:45. I was also scared because it was first time stepping outside Pakistan and flying halfway across the world by herself, I was very very scared but thanks to Allah, Shafaq made it here in my arms safely.

It has been a long 21 month journey for me and on exactly our 21st Month Anniversary we are being united.I know through this 21 month journey I have nagged and posted numerous times regarding my wife's visa petition. Shafaq likes it here but she does kinda miss her family and is still jetlagged. I want to thank everyone here who helped me through their words as support. You guys and gals will always be in my prayers. I want thank the following members personally;

Thanks all you guys. Yeah this past week has been soo hectic and different for me. I guess I'm realizing the responisibilities of a married man now yaar. Its hard at the same time because I am living with my parents and sister and I need to keep everything balanced (mom-sister-wifey), but hopefully I wont mess up anywhere.

You know there's always some kind of intezar (wait) in life for something, either for a degree, a new car, marriage. Shafaq's arrival was the biggest intezar for me and it has been completed. There always an intezar in life and now I just wonder whats next you know. It just feels like life is headed in a good direction right now, I shall be graduating this summer with BS in Accounting too. Im trying to get Shafaq enrolled in a university but I think she has to take some type of TOEFL exam.

Im still trying to get her adapted to the American type of food. I took her to a halal chinese restaurant the other day and she didnt like it because they cook it different style in Pak so itll take her awhile to get settled in. Just last week we read namaz together and It felt really really good. Now I feel like our family is complete and my parents are being soo supportive of everything. My mom is not acting like a typical saas (watch Indian soap dramas for good examples of bad saas's, lol). Allah ka shukher everything is going well. Thanks for all the sweet comments.
