If we go by the buzz Shah Rukh Khan and Nair bonded so well over 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' at STAR, the enterprising Nair is now planning something really big at NDTV with the superstar. That Karan Johar is also part of the channel will certainly help.

I fear there are long days ahead for him again if this is true.
Though I do like the idea of him doing some sort of show on TV, he is just too good as host. Or what else could this be about?

He will not be able to do a game show till his contract with Star is not over. Then I don't see SRK acting in soaps either. I think this could be the joint venture between Redchillies and NDTV, remember he said he will people in his company the responsibility to so something for TV.

hm... whatever it is, it sounds very interesting.
I don't know about the not being able to do another show, that happens here all the time with the most famous tv hosts. It's mostly a question of the format and not setting both shows as competition against each other.
But that of course is also a question of the general ethics in the industry, and most of all of the contract he has with star, and I wouldn't be too surprised of that one has an exclusivity clause of some sort.

sameer said that SRK personally cannot do any show for anyother channel except star because he himself had signed SRK upto 2008 December to star tv and only after that he is free and i have read this article I think in Hindustantimes 2 or 3 days back i think.

I read an interview of Sameer's recently. He has joined NDTV's entertainment channel as CEO. It's called NDTV Imagine and is jointly promoted by Prannoy Roy and Karan Johar. Karan has a stake in it and will also provide his creative inputs. My guess is that SRK will have something to do with this channel, which will be launched next year. But maybe after his second season with KBC is over.

Well Karan hinted as much when he was at the launch of Imagine NDTV where he said that 'I'm part of the film fraternity and I'll be bringing along my film family with me'
