I disagree. Hopefully they'll show the promo. I am actually sure that they'll show the promo. Could be also a promotional video?! if they show it the excitement will go more higher..and people will get more excited. I remember the same was with Deewangi. Everyone was crazy about that!

In short: The entire album sounds nice. I didn't especially concentrate on the music, so no full review from me. The two tujh mein rab songs are nice, especially the female one is great stuff. Interestingly, the haule haule song impressed me more now, I find myself liking it much better now.

I don't know if we're allowed to give opinions in the review threads of others, but, after Haule Haule, and perhaps Tujh Main Rab Dikhta Hai, I was hugely disappointed. Personally, I don't think the album comes close to Adi's preceding ventures.

My problem isn't with the actual music-- My problem is with the content of the music. I was expecting a lot more romance. I've been fiending for great romantic music all year, and this was supposed to be a great supply.

Most people are comparing this to DDLJ/Mohabbatein but they are wrong because those two films were in a different generation. I actually compared it to SS's AN. I love Haule Haule and Tujhe Mein Rab but I need to listen to the Sonu and Dance Pe Chance song more to like it.

I think as fans, we're supposed to hold expectations for the actors we love. Considering Shahrukh Khan is my favourite actor from Hindi cinema, and easily top 10 worldwide, I think I would be erring if I didn't hold any expectations. One can't have Zero Expectation from SRK, that's right but to expect a DDLJ from every film is not right either. Not every film can run for 13 years. Expectations have to be realistic based on the Setup/Genre/Story Idea of the film.

Ujjwala is right just give it some time.. but i guess we were expecting a full album.. for example we have the cd yet we dont know what the "theme music" for the movie is.. the dance jodi sounds like a remix.. i have to say that its a bit incomplete.. but that doesnt mean the songs we have arent great.. i love them so far

Mostly Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai's instrumental is going the theme music. I am pretty sure about that with the "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" aalap too. Even if Dance Jodi seems like a remix, there are lots of parts that can be used in the background.

Actually we have got used to CD with 12-14 track in which half are remixes, add a few instrumentals but eventually there are 5-6 songs in the film. Its complete album according to me, if I look at it individually. So many SRK films in the past have had just 5-6 songs with no remixes and theme music.

I wasn't expecting a Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge-esque album, but, I was hoping it'd at least parallel Aaja Nachle, in terms of romantic content. I wasn't expecting the album to compete with the album of any preceding film; I just wanted more romantic music. . .

About the Music

There has been alot of "disappointment" with the music.. But everyone who is disappointed needs to understand that if Aditya Chose tracks that were instantly satisfying to the ear that would mean that it would have been music that we were expecting. Then instantly RNBDJ would get labeled as Typical .. And the term "typical" would get attached to SRK too.. Even when the movie releases please dont go expecting it to be structured like DDLJ.. DDLJ was 13 years ago.. SRK's acting and career has seen 13 years between the two films.. Had the film had 1. Romantic Duet. 1 song about falling in love.. 1 shaadi Song.. 1 Heartbreak song.. 1 item number.. then everyone would be happy but that would only mean that all of those songs would have to fit together in a script meaning that the script would be like a film that we've already seen. RNBDJ is Aditya's Antithesis .. he is trying to work his magic on a different kind of story/film. Listen to the music barring all your expectations and hopes. "Tuj Mein Rab Dikta Hai" is Such a beautiful song.. i feel its a song that i will tag along with SRKs greatest songs. "Haule Haule" makes you wanna dance with SRK and hug him for being so great. "Phir Milenge" all i can say is wait till you watch it to judge it.. i sighed at "all the hot girls put ur hands up and say" but when i saw it on screen i went nuts.. "Dance Pe Chance" as much as i hate the english lyrics i cant deny that the tune isn't catchy. "Tuj Mein 2" It could make me cry.. i wish it were longer and extended.. beautifully sung by Shreya.. Yes the one problem i have with the album is that i wanted atleast one more song. Other than that.. Its a good album. Just wait and see a couple weeks from now and you'll wonder why you didn't like it.. Lets just give our good thoughts to the film and take the music as a sign that we need to be open minded about the film and not expect or demand it to be a certain way..

I love ALL the songs yaar! :blushing: :egyptian: Though Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte and Tujh Mein Rab Dekhta Hai are my hot favorites, I've been listening to the entire album on my iPod today NON-STOP! :haha: I love each and every one of them. I didn't even had to get used to even one of the songs. Whenever I listen to Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte I get this huge smile on my face so while walking outside I have to bite my lip sometimes to stop smiling :haha: I'm just glad they released the soundtrack only now. If they had released it before I would have never been able to wait for 2 months or something! :P

Hahahah today I officially made the decision not to watch any of the next promos :haha: I love Phir Milenge SO much!!! I want to be completely surprised by this song when I see it on the big screen and let him take my breath away :love: So now I'm going to switch off all the avatars and signatures... Damn!
