I know I'm a bit late...but here it is anyways.
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai
Having seen the promo of Haule Haule I was sure that was going to be my favourite song of the album, but I was wrong. Tujh Mein is such a beautiful song and the heartfelt lyrics are both romantic and sad at the same time, and bring a lump to my throat every I time hear it. Can't wait to see the song, I know I'm going to cry buckets. Haven't heard Roop Kumar Rathod for a while so that was nice too.
Haule Haule
What's not to like about this song! It's addictive! It's simplicity at it's best! It's Sukhwinder and he's always good!
It seems that in this song Suri is somehow trying to console himself, telling himself that love will happen slowly because it obviously has not happened as yet, even though he himself is in love. 'Rab da bhi rab koi hona, kar koi yun jaadu tona, man jaaye man jaaye haaye mera sona'. Again superb lyrics. Poor Suri, his longing is so apparent in both songs.
Dance Pe Chance
Like many other members I too was dreading to hear the lyrics of this song, thinking they were were going to be too english, but I was pleasantly surprised. In fact the song is so much fun. Sunidhi has sung superbly, she's even given a punjabi touch to some of the hindi lyrics by singing them with a punjabi accent. And I love the Punjabi parts sung by Labh Janua, even though they have no bearing to the rest of the song. So you have a fusion of everything, english, hindi, punjabi and even bhangra. Perfect!
Phir Milenge
In OSO a tribute was paid to some of todays stars, now it's the turn of some of yeasteryear stars, and what a great tribute it is. Sonu's voice is in top form as a medley of some of the best (and my favourite) songs which were picturized on the top stars of yesterday are used on this track. It's going to be so nostalgic and fun for oldies like me to see this number picturized!
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai (Female Version)
Again, romantic but sad, sad in a nice way because there's hope for Suri!! I love you Suri. Yaara Main Kya Karoon!
Dancing Jodi
Great mix of the tracks. Not a big fan of re-mixing tracks but like this one, and Rab Ne Bani Di at the end is a nice touch.
I am more than happy with the music of RNBDJ. For those who are a bit disappointed with the number of tracks on the album I would say, it's quality over quantity and I think the team of RNBDJ has justified this. The songs are situational so won't seem forced into the storyline. Well done Adi!!
