problem to log into the forum

since two or three days i have problems to log into the forum with the path www.shahrukhkhan.org.....always got the this message.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/shahrukh/public_html/components/com_content/models/frontpage.php on line 210

did someone know, what the problem is?

No idea what the problem is, but the workaround is to bookmark the direct link and use it instead: http://www.shahrukhkhan.org/srkvb3/index.php

What happened to the forum?.......and the front page?......and the gallery?

I registered a long time ago - but when I tried to log in again I got the message that my username and my password are not correct, plus: my email addy was not known to the system.
So I had no other possibility as to re-register again. So I lost everything: my PMs, my ava, my sig, my posts, my contacts......everything gone for good.

But here I am again - and it feels so damn good to be home again!

But why do I get the message "thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting. You will now be taken back to the forum. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so."
Why this? I am not able to post? Does that make sense in a forum where you are supposed to post your opinion and discuss things? Do I need to get a mod´s approval each time I want to post?

What happened and what´s wrong?
Isn´t it a free forum anymore? Censored? Only approved of the eyes of the admins or mods?
I don´t want to make trouble - I am just wondering how things changed here.
This is all strange and odd to me.....

But glad to be back again nevertheless!

^ Windance, it's nothing personal against you. The policy was changed a while back because we were getting so many new registrations that immediately were used to post spam, even pornography. Only your first few posts need to be approved by an admin, then all will be back to normal.

We know that the front page and gallery aren't working, we're hoping they'll be fixed soon.

I understand the situation and the change of the policy - it must be hard for admins and mods to handle this.

But for new members or re-registrations there really should be a note about that - maybe a sticky one? I really felt bad when I tried to post and when I got the message - now I know why it is necessary to moderate.

I always loved the forum - and Shahrukh. Nothing changed.

Yes it is hard for admins to do this. We have to moderate the first few posts and all the new members. But that's what happens when spammers come to make trouble.

Don't worry, after the first few posts you'll feel right at home. :)

I couldn't get to the forum all of yesterday even though it was bookmarked so I accessed it directly, but it still came up with error like andrea said. I tried going via google and putting url directly in but even that didn't work.

I can access it now of course, so no problem just thought i would let mods know.

When I click on a thread to read it I always will be directed to some russian site and my security-systems warns me that this is not a save site. When I click throught the forum I can open most of the threads (like this one here) without a problem.

Get this unsave- and virus-message, too when using the 'new posts'-section. Also, the 'new posts' page looks very strange - no buttons etc.

The problem has being fixed. the webmaster says - there was no virus at SRK.org. We were being re-directed to other malicious sites.

You can also use the 'new posts' now.

Sorry, I think the attack is back. New posts worked for a while which was great, but now I have the same problem as before and a russian site tries to open.

I also still have the same problem - actually even worse! before i could check the new posts, and then go back to the main page. But now when i chosed "new posts" i can't go anywhere else - its redirecting me!

my virus protection programme does not let me open the forum pages and gives a malware warning - can you look into this?

Details: Instead of the forum pages you are directed to a website that my virus protection programme considers unsafe: www1.hitonclean-atpc.com

Tried to contact you, but the emails come bouncing back (Reason:SMTP authentication is required.)

This thread seems not to be compromised, but others still are, because I tried again just now.

today i used the forum-search, and got a big attaction! I have trojan-virus-warnings - and it took me 2,5 hours til i could use the web again...
I think i need to stay away from here for a time... :cry:

Is all well? I find that I have sent virus with an email I sent to my desktop. I shall stay away until it is confirmed that all is well. Needless to say it is not easy! I have had blue screen from other Bollywood sites twice and I just want to be extra careful. Please, please, please post if and when there is any progress. I have stopped using new posts for sometime now.
