Disappearing threads

First I noticed this problem of the disappearing threads in the TV shows forum, but now it seems to be everywhere - (except for the 'sticky' threads)
- including this Suggestion forum - the earlier threads have become invisible.


in Anything Goes also, all threads do NOT show and that becomes a problem when we have something to add to an existing thread - we have to specifically SEARCH for it which becomes another problem if we do not remember the actual thread title. Same with Hollywood forum... and so on.....

Often then it leads to opening a 'duplicate' thread. Also, at first I had the misconception (as I am sure others do too) that my threads had been deleted !

Can the tech team please do something about this problem?

This is the forum default setting. You can change this for yourself by going to the User CP link at the navigation bar at the top of the forum. Then click on Edit options at the left side.

Under the thread display options section, there is an option to change the Default Thread Age Cut Off. You can change it to one of several options up to being able to see all threads.

If you find threads disappearing, it's because the thread is redundant, not relevant, not a credible source or has already been posted. Sometimes articles are posted just because there is a single mention of SRK's name.
