The front page and Media gallery are working fine now. The 'search by keyword' also works.

Suggestion - is it possible to make the Username (Nickname) smaller in size? It takes up too much space on the page. It was nice to have it on the side so it was not intrusive. The huge siggies are intrusive enough so maybe we can get a smaller area for the nickname.

I don't think so, you should be able to see all the forums, but I'll ask the webmaster.

Report Bad Post is on the right side of the red bar above each message. It's the triangular image with an exclamation mark in it.

Admins hi, this is pawan (mumsie). As you can see i've had to re register, after trying for days to get on the forum with my old user name and password, all to no avail. I registered under the user name pawan, but after receiving the activiation link, when I tried to log in with that user name and password again, it would'nt work. I'm very sorry, but now I'm registered under three different user names, mona lisa, pawan and mumsie. Can anyone explain why this has happened and can anything be done.

I think there's a time limit. The posts you've read disappear from the new posts afrter a while. Say you read some posts, close the forum page and come back immediately, all the new posts will be there. If you revisit say half an hour later only the unread ones will remain.

OK, thanx Uma...but surely there must be more than 3 or 4 posts over say 12 hours or even more? I will try and take note next time and see the time frame and the message count. This used to happen before on the previous forum also. I just know I am missing some messages...

Hi admins,

a friend of mine informed me that after she registered at srk.org she didn't get the confirmation e-mails.

Since then when she want to log in always comes the report invalid username or passwort. She also tried to contact the admins via e-mail and got always a mailer deamon message.

In this case she registered with a new username but she has the same problem with it!

Her two usernames are: 'Lotta' and the second one is 'Barish'

Yes, indeed! I never get in via the main page, only via my pm message board. And then , if I want to go to the Webzine page, I get chucked out again. And: I cannot pm anything! Huh, this is the first time it is actally working at least halfway!
I only have two usernames here because neither one ever works properly and I don't know how many times I've tried *sob* and never got a mail back confirming membership and activating it. ? So - what is there to do?

All the problems are being looked at. If folk who are having problems with accesing the front page, can email the webmaster directly, he'll address your questions, the same goes for pms not working. His email id is on the front page where he says report problems. You can type your message in the Tech support area on the front page.

hey guys... I tried the link on this thread, but it doesn't work, says 'page does not exist'. Anyway, I had this little thing: I posted a link for the MTV Lycra Style Awards to vote in the Awards section. Next day I came back and it wasn't there! I thought maybe I'd done something wrong, then it would be ok, but the next day another member had posted the same linked in the same section, and it hasn't been removed. The MTV style was removed twice becuase it was already up in the voting links section of the Awards forum. So please check the appropriate threads before posting. If you find your posts disappearing, it's because they have been posted before.

POsts in some sections like Forum Games and Anything Goes are not counted. Only SRK sections are counted.

I don't know whether it's SRK.org or someone else, but for a couple of days now I don't receive the notifications about new posts in threads (and those about new pms neither). Yesterday I tried changing the email adress to my regular one, but I have not got the confirmation mail so far.
I've asked my email provider about that problem, and they said they don't receive any emails from the adress I gave them.

I have had problems receiving those notifications earlier, but then it was just that they came later, sometimes days later, and this was clearly a fault of my email provider, which I have changed in the meantime. The new problems occur precisely since I switched the provider, which is why I tried them first.

Can somebody help me?

Edit: I can't access pm's either, but that's obviously a feature due to the unconfirmed email status.

2nd edit: Changed email again to one I normally don't use at all, but at least that mail got through at once, everythings fine again as far as SRK.org is concerned.

If you post in any section other than the SRK section (like Bollywood or Anything Goes etc.) the posts are not counted.
