Does anyone have the Nintendo WII?

I just bought the WII yesterday and it came with the 5 in 1 WII Sports (Golf, Baseball, Tennis, Boxing, and Bowling).

I played these games and they pretty good but has anyone else played other games like Madden, Car Racing, or Showtime Boxing?

If yes, is there much of a difference between the graphics and the movements when you play the WII Sports compared to games like Madden, Showtime Boxing, etc.

Thanks for all the help.

I have it, just recently bought Madden 08. I'm loving it. Takes a bit of getting used to but once you do, it's really fun.

There's not much difference in the graphics/movements. It all depends on your sensor.

I was thinking about getting a used Madden 08 but since 09 is coming out next month, I'll just wait for that.

But how is the play mode? I've been playing Madden all my life on the PS2, how's the game play compared to Madden on Wii to PS2?

It's about the same. There's a few things you can't do on the Wii that you can on the PS2, but that's because of less buttons.

What you have to get used to most of all is using two controllers. That's what was tough at the beginning, but it only takes a couple of times playing to figure things out. It's more fun b/c you're the one throwing the ball with the actual arm motion.

Damm Reema you make it sound so exciting. I cant wait to get my hands on Madden 09. Have you played any of the baseball games on the WII?

Only the one with Wii Sports. I'm thinking about getting one though.

My brother just got Rockband for his Wii, and I enjoyed playing that...challenging for a non-gamer like me, but not as much of a learning curve, initially, as most of the PS2 games I tried once upon a time.

Adil, my friends tell me that Xbox 360 is better than the PS3, although I prefer PS over Xbox. Inshallah I plan on getting the PS3 next year. Do you think they'll come out with a PS4 soon?

Oh trust me I am a X-Box fan that is of the original. My brother wanted to my PS2 and I had to convince him so badly that X-box was better. So we got X-box instead and it was way better than PS2. But fact is PS3 I feel is better than 360. The graphics rock in PS3 and plus for 360 you have to pay yearly for online play, what bogus.

By the way not sure if they have MLB The Show for other consoles but that is the best baseball game by far! At least on PS3.

I only have FIFA 2008 though, really addicted to it lol.

I got one two months ago and I love it. I have Wii Sports (well, everyone does lol), Resident Evil 4 and SEGA Superstars Tennis. They're fun.

The graphics are better and much sharper on PS3; I own a 360 too btw. The price you pay to play online for Xbox 360 is worth it though, in my opinion. I haven't tried Playstation Online so can't really comment.

Nah, not anytime soon. I think the next consoles won't come out with 2010/2011. Maybe even later than that. I think Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo will just build on what they have.

Like for Xbox 360, they're totally revamping the interface this Fall. Nintendo Wii has like a new precision motion sensor thing coming out with Wii Sports 2. Things like that, I guess.

Fasel, if any of your friends or relatives have PS3 you HAVE TO try MLB The Show 2008 in HD. If you love baseball man, you will drool after seeing this game lol.
