Rabne-the sweetest film on the earth-shereen's review (spoilers)

Rabne Banadi Jodi is a very simple movie which has a very simple story. when yashraj and SRK comes together as usual our hopes are increased and our expectations goes higher and higher.
will rabne can succed and meet up with those, lets see.

Film starts with a brilliant way, the fisrt 30 minutes will give a tremendous feeling for the movie. I will not give detailes of the story, but it has an awesome start. after 45 minutes, with the introduction of the raj, film drops a bit, I feel film drags here and some scenes are not handled well by the director. when you come to the intermission, you may felt, ohh this is bit a letdown. BUT
after the intermission, again the film picked up tremendously and you will start to enjoy the movie with so much passion like in the beining.
The last amazing 30 minutes will keep you emotional and brilliant ending and end credites will fill and make you forget small flaws in that part I mentioned.

performance
This is the biggest acheivement in the movie.

SRK as suri is out of the world. except one or two scenes in the part I mentioned, he is mindblowing as and he delivers his one of the greatest performances in this decade. his facial expressions, dialogue delivery is the soul of the movie.The way he react, the way he express, the way he amaze,the way he handle comic scenes and the seirous scenes with so much easiness, the way he handles romantic scenes with so much shyness
what a performance. its awesome and you will fall for this man with so much love.you will start to feel his soul. brilliant award worthy performance 10/5


srk as raj is bit out of control in the first half, but again that is a raj wannabe, he hardly tries to be a hero and be a cool person. so its ok according to the story, but I think srk can handle raj well than this. In the second half, in comic scenes and emotional scenes specially in the pre-climax scenes he acts good as raj.

Anushka-What I can say, what a great found by adi, she is bit inconsistance in her introduction scene, but after that she match scene to scene with srk as suri and of coures as raj. she delivers wonderful performance. I didnt trust adi's choice of new ladies after mohabatein, here he done it.4/5


Direction
I think adi's direction this time is a bit let down, he handle some scenes very well, but I expect more from adi.

Story
when I heard the story about the make over, I was like what ??how can be?but when you watch the movie, you will not feel it. so hats off to adi who handle this simple,bit unrealistic story well.

Music
music makes a great impact for the movie, but I feel background score in the second part should have been better.
I love all songs and pictiraizations except the star-song. To me, its a bit letdown. it should have been better, kajol and rani looks good, but I expect better.

as a movie, even if it has some flaws, it will entertain like never before due to its simplicity and SRK.I never feel a movie like this much.you will feel the life with this film. you will love your life and you will be waiting for the success of suri like never before you feel for the hero of any film.
you will cry with him and laugh with him, feel happy for him and sorry for him too at the same time. Its a comman people's story, its our story.


SRK is 100% right about the film,the film will put a smile on you at the end, you will feel the suri's victory as yours, ours. This will never happen with me before for a film.
who will think, some boring normal -not good looking man or woman will love you more than his/her life.This is for the people who are seraching for love. this film have an amazing feel about love to love.
SRK is right, every couple we met on the road may be have to tell some extra ordinary story, we all are heroes. Its good for being our selves than pretending to be.

as a movie product, there may be great movies than this, but this is the sweetest movie I have ever seen. the way this film emotes your self with the best performance of real characters will enough to fall in love with this movie like never before.


In the last decade, SRK introduced the lover of the season as Raj in DDLJ, in this decade he introduced the new version of a lover as suri, not only that, he gives a new meaning for love through portraying suri's soul beautifully.
HE AGAIN PROVED , AGE IS NOT A BARRIER TO DO ROMANTIC FILMS FOR HIM AND HE IS THE KING OF ROMANCE IN BOLYWOOD, NO IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.


amazing film and the sweetest film on the earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually it surpassed my expectations from this kind of sweet story

i disagree with you that the reason why adi took more time if we dont expect huge we had more films with this combo i think Aditya is the best director of romantic world no body in the world express and direct the way adi did in all his 3 veture.think can somebody stood in same position even if he will not have srk i will watch his movie with same excitment for me I love Adi Alot.

I like Adi a lot too, but tend to agree with shereen in that some scenes lack Adi's touch. Also that's because, as Shereen said, "I expect more from Adi". It's just my feelings, didn't want to offend anyone. But I loved Rab ne as a whole.
